KCII News spoke with U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley about the first Presidential Debate that was held on June 27th to gain his insights into the debate, “I was really kind of surprised at the controversy that came up, because of Biden’s performance. The night after the debate, listening to people review it. I thought they were too tough on him. And then, the next day and since then, I’ve seen reruns of what he said, and I don’t think he did himself any good. And now of course we have all the fire going on about whether he should stay on the ticket, that’s strictly within the Democratic Party to make that decision.”  The second debate is scheduled to be held on September 10th, 2024.
