PAWS & More Animal Shelter in Washington is partnering with the Bissell Pet Foundation this week to hold an Empty the Shelter Event.

From now through July 14, there will be no adoption fees for cats and just a $50 adoption fee for dogs. Shelter Director Amber Talbot explains, “This is our first event with Bissell [Pet Foundation] and they provide some financial support for every animal that is adopted which allows us to waive the fees and makes it a little less of a burden financially.” During the month of July, the Bissell Pet Foundation is sponsoring reduced adoption fees at more than 390 organizations in 44 states.
