pleasantview-kalona

During the week of June 10, state surveyors with the Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals, and Licensure performed a health inspection of Pleasantview in Kalona. The facility was found to have zero deficiencies and earned a perfect score.

Only about five percent of Iowa facilities receive a perfect score. These inspections are conducted annually and cover multiple facets of the operation, especially nursing. In addition to this latest achievement, Pleasantview has previously been named a Five Star Facility by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. This is an overall rating based on the inspection, plus staffing, and quality measures.

Pleasantview is approaching the end of a lengthy renovation process, and offers long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted and independent living, as well as dementia care.
