Earlier this month, Sunrise Terrace Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Winfield was named as a recipient of the 2024 Silver Achievement In Quality Award. The recognition comes from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living.
Sunrise Terrace is just one of four facilities in Iowa and 129 facilities across the country to receive the Award, which recognizes organizations that meet progressively rigorous standards of performance to improve the lives of residents and staff. Administrator Linsday Remick called the award “an incredible honor” and added that Sunrise Terrace will continue to strive for a Gold Award. Among Iowa long-term care centers, only The Alverno Health Care Facility in Clinton has reached that mark.
Facilities like Sunrise Terrace are reviewed by trained examiners to ensure they are meeting the necessary criteria. All Quality Awards will be presented in Orlando, Florida October 6-9.
