This week, while you are enjoying the sites and sounds of the Washington County Fair, don’t forget the food and drink. The Mid-Prairie Athletic Boosters are hosting their annual concession stand near the grandstand all week long. The menu includes all of your Mid-Prairie gameday favorites like walking tacos, brats, rib on a stick, ribeye sandwiches, cold drinks and world famous Kalona Bars.

Players, coaches and administration from various Mid-Prairie athletic teams will be taking turns to serve you this year. On Tuesday, it’s the basketball and golf teams, Wednesday is volleyball and wrestling, Thursday soccer and track, Friday is  cross country and dance. The Golden Hawk football team opened the week on Monday. All proceeds raised will be used for different athletic department projects including equipment and uniforms. The concession stand is located just to the north of the grandstand and will remain open through the end of the fair.
