A Wellman man was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison Wednesday for producing child pornography.

In 2022, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office was notified that now 23-year-old Trevor Devon Miller produced a video of himself with a minor female engaged in sexual activity. The video was sent by Miller via Snapchat to other minors. When confronted, Miller admitted to producing and distributing the video. Upon investigation, it was found that Miller had produced a similar video with another minor female.

After completing his 20-year sentence, Miller will be required to serve 10 years of supervised release and register as a sex offender. There is no parole in the federal system.
