It’s Sigourney softball’s turn in the spotlight tonight, as the Savages return to Fort Dodge and the 2024 State Tournament.
At 23-7, Sigourney earned the six seed in the 1A Tournament, after besting Wapello in extra innings last week. They are slated to face number-three, undefeated Remsen-St. Mary’s. The last game of the night Tuesday, first pitch is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. from the Iowa Central Field. Additional teams that made it to Fort Dodge this year are Martensdale-St. Marys, Edgewood-Colesburg, St. Edmond, Collins-Maxwell, Wayne, and Southeast Warren.
