The Washington Area Ministerial Alliance, in conjunction with Washington County businesses, community members, and the Salvation Army, will be holding a school supply giveaway this evening for area children. KCII News spoke with Pastor Darryl Carr to learn more about the giveaway, “Let me just say, even if you got them last year, you are more than welcome to come. If you still have your backpack from last year, that’s fine, bring it, and we’ll be happy to have you go through.” Backpacks and supplies will be available for children or caregivers to choose from from 4:30 to 7:30 pm in the Washington Public Library.
