RAGBRAI 51 rode through the KCII listening area Friday, including stops in Fairfield and Brighton. Before day six concluded in Mount Pleasant, the City was the recipient of a donation from RAGBRAI and its riders.

Mount Pleasant Mayor Steve Brimhall and fellow-members of the RAGBRAI planning committee accepted a check for $5,100. These funds will go towards the City’s Lee Town Park project. While it is still in the initial planning stages, the goal is to create an all-inclusive playground at the park, which is located on East Cedar Lane.

RAGBRAI 51 officially ended on Saturday in Burlington.
