Access Energy Cooperative of Mt. Pleasant announced this week that it has been alerted to a scam targeting its members.

Last weekend, one of their members reported that they had received a phone call from someone claiming to represent Access Energy Cooperative. The caller offered discounts on the member’s electric bill, yet the company does not have any groups or individuals making such calls.

Anyone who receives a call offering discounts from someone claiming to be with Access Energy Cooperative is advised these offers are a scam. With questions, call 319-385-1577.
