The City of Washington is holding a Special Election today, August 6th, to fill the open At Large City Council Seat. To prepare for the election, the Chamber of Commerce hosted a Candidates Forum the day before election day. The event was held on August 5th from 11:30 am – 1 pm at the Washington Public Library. Most of the forum was a question-and-answer format. KCII broadcast the forum live, and will also bring you live updates on election night after the polls close at 8 pm.
