Last week a traffic collision in Wellman injured one. Just after 10a.m. July 30th, a vehicle driven by Owen Clark of Wellman, hit a motorcycle operated by James Rowe of Wellman, in the intersection of Highway 22 and Ginkgo Avenue. Rowe was transported to University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City for injuries sustained in the wreck. Clark was cited for failure to yield upon entering a through highway. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at more than $1500.

Responding to the scene were the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Wellman Fire Department and Wellman QRS.
