Around 40 youth and a standing-room-only audience gathered around the Lions Club Stage at the Washington County Fair to receive their State Fair plaques and public recognition for being selected as a State Fair project award winner. These projects will be on display representing Washington County 4-H at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines. Seven hundred and twenty-one non-livestock exhibits were entered at the Washington County Fair in the 4-H/FFA static contest.
