Thursday, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested 54-year-old Ronnie Steven Zvacek of Kalona on a warrant for 16 counts of sexual acts against children. According to police documents, the charges stem from a series of alleged incidents between June 22nd and July 22nd of this year, that involved Zvacek and two minors, who were under the age of 14 at time of the events, listed as Child #1 and Child #2 in documentation.

Zvacek is accused of committing four separate sex acts with Child #1 resulting in four counts of Second Degree Sexual Abuse, all Class B Felonies. The report also accuses Zvacek of two separate sex acts with Child #1 resulting in two counts of Lascivious Acts with a Child, both Class C Felonies, and two additional acts with Child #1 resulting in two more counts of Lascivious Acts with a Child, both Class C Felonies. It is also alleged that Zvacek committed four acts of Incest with Child #1, resulting in four subsequent Class D Felonies. During the same time frame, the statement says Zvacek was involved in two incidents of Indecent Exposure within the view of Child #1 and Child #2, resulting in four serious misdemeanors.

No Contact orders have been filed against Zvacek on behalf of the minors. He is currently being held in the Washington County Jail on $100,000 bond until his preliminary hearing set for August 26th.
