A former Washington Demons wrestler will be starring on a different mat this coming winter. Now-graduated senior Chase Greiner committed to continue his wrestling career at Central College in Pella.

Greiner had an excellent career at Washington, winning well over 100 bouts and reaching the state championships at 160 pounds in 2023. Greiner went 39-7 this past season and just missed out on a return trip to state at 157 lbs.

He’ll be joining a Central College team that went 12-4 in duals this past winter and sent two wrestlers to the NCAA Division III national championships.
