The Washington City Council heard a special event request on Tuesday at their meeting. Jeremy Vittetoe of the St James Finance Council gave the presentation, “Can’t believe it’s time again, but I am back again to ask permission for the St. James Fall Fest. It will be the same format as we have done in the past with a lunch and then a live auction outside the KC Hall. We close down the street in front of the KC Hall, I think all of the department heads were fine with borrowing some picnic tables from the park and I think that’s about it, we raise money for St. James School.” The Council approved the special event request. The St. James Fall Fest will be held September 8th from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
