Just after 6:30p.m. Thursday, a Wellman man was involved in a motorcycle vs deer collision in the 1100 Block of Ginkgo Avenue, north of Wellman. Steve Etheredge was traveling southbound when he struck a deer and was thrown from the motorcycle. Etheredge was airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Responding on scene were the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Washington County Ambulance, Wellman Fire and Rescue, Wellman EMS and AirCare.
