The WACO Warriors are preparing to get the new cross country season started and the top two runners return to the boys’ team.

Senior Tristan Luitjens and junior Keiran Luitjens have posted WACO’s fastest times across the last two seasons. New for the Warrior boys will be sophomore Kaden Donaldson and juniors Jude Dykstra and Hagen Pearson.

Senior Justine Lynn, junior Sarah Craun and sophomore Deedra Graber are all back for the WACO girls’ team and will be joined by senior Elyssa Graber and freshman Josie Dykstra as new teammates. Warriors head coach Caylon DeVaul tells KCII Sports something.

WACO’ first meet of the cross country season is the Hillcrest Academy Invitational Tuesday in Kalona.
