The Washington County Riverboat Foundation held a ribbon-cutting event for the Red Cross Emergency Response Vehicle on Thursday, August 29th. The ERV was at the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort. The Washington County Riverboat Foundation gave the Red Cross a $100,000 grant to purchase the ERV during its Spring 2022 grant cycle. Due to supply shortages and emergency needs around Iowa and the country the vehicle had been delayed getting built and delivered to Eastern Iowa.
