The WACO Warriors suffered a pair of losses on the volleyball court Thursday night at Fairfield. WACO fell to the host Trojans in straight sets, 25-16 and 25-12, before losing to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont in straight sets, losing 25-10 and 25-5 to the second-ranked team in the state in Class 2A.
Sophomore Carlee Lunsford led the Warriors with four kills and six digs total for the night. Senior Ally Rinner added three kills and two blocked shots as a pair of losses drops WACO to 1-4. The Warriors are next in action Thursday against Cardinal.
