The Washington County Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday. On the agenda was the acknowledgment of a charitable donation to the Washington County Ambulance Service. County Auditor Dan Widmer gave more information, “The ambulance received a charitable contribution, and a very nice note of thank you from the individual. The amount of the donation is one thousand dollars, and in discussing it with the folks of the ambulance we decided to err on the side of caution, because this person was a patient. And so typically we announce the name and in this case we won’t.” The donation will be going into the general fund for the Ambulance Service.
