On August 27th, at approximately 6:18 p.m., the Washington Police Department was dispatched to 502 West 3rd Street in Washington regarding a criminal trespass complaint. Upon arrival, officers met with the residence’s owner and a second person. Both indicated 41-year-old Adam Leonard Bloom of Washington came to the residence, entered unannounced and without authorization, and started yelling. Bloom was instructed several times to leave. Mr. Bloom put his hand onto the occupants face, and pushed her backward. Bloom has an active no-contact order with the victim. In addition, Bloom has been charged with burglary in the second degree, a Class C Felony. Bloom’s bond was set at $25,000 and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for September 6th.
