The Washington County Board of Supervisors heard the quarterly report from the Secondary Roads Department on Tuesday. Washington County Engineer Jacob Thorius gave the report. “Second quarter of the year, a pretty normal quarter. We placed about 140 feet of pipe in various locations. Our normal paved road and rock road maintenance. Patching potholes filling up shoulders. Normal blading getting the rock roads back into shape from the winter. Hauled rock on the roads is roughly thirty thousand tonnes. Started mowing, reseeded areas from last year. Fixed six different guardrails on the bridges.” The Supervisors acknowledged the report.
