WACO Head Coach Chad Edeker joined us on the KCII Radio Coaches Corner this past Saturday to talk about tonight’s homecoming opponent, WMU. “I don’t think we need any hype to get ready for Winfield. Both teams love playing against each other as natural rivals. It’s just a matter of getting after it and seeing what can come,” Edeker said.

WMU Head Coach Scott McCarty also joined us on the KCII Radio Coaches Corner on Saturday to preview their key district matchup with WACO. “They’re not what they have been up front. They’ve got some big kids but that’s not the strength of their team. As we move forward, we’ve got to make sure where we can find our successes and where we can limit theirs,” McCarty said.

In the Varsity Bound Era, WACO owns the all-time series record between these two teams 11-4 dating back to 2007, and have won four of the last six in the series. However, last year went the way of the Wolves by a final of 34-8 on September 8th.

You can hear all of the action live tonight between WACO and Winfield-Mount Union streaming exclusively online at KCIIRadio.com on the KCII3 Stream beginning with the pregame show at 6:30, and kickoff at 7 p.m. from Roth Field in Wayland.
