U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley spoke with KCII News about the completion of his 44th Annual 99 County tour, “In at least two thirds of all of the counties, the Farm Bill always came up. In half of the counties prescription drug prices came up. In almost every county, the cost of living, particularly food, came up.” Iowans who attended this year’s meetings raised concerns on a variety of issues including pharmacy benefit managers, the southern border, inflation, rural health care, the Farm Bill, disaster recovery and national security. They often voiced support for bipartisanship and government accountability.
