The Washington City Council met Tuesday. On the agenda was a discussion and consideration of a resolution releasing funds for a Downtown Investment Grant (DIG) to Lux Suites for renovations that they did at 110 West Main Street in Washington. Owned by the DeLongs, the renovations have totaled nearly $168,000. The final phase of the renovation which is the outside portion will begin in the coming weeks. The Council approved the DIG grant unanimously in the amount of $25,000.
