The Columbus Community School District kicked off their homecoming week on Sunday with the coronation ceremony. Mason Heck was crowned homecoming king and Frannie Sosa was crowned homecoming queen. On the homecoming court was Mason Heck, Ryan Coil, Cael Howell, and Payton White. Queen candidates included Claire Humphreys, Frannie Sosa, Ariana Vergara, Madeleine Howell, and Lily Coil. Activities continue throughout the week with powderpuff football this evening, rough and tough volleyball on Wednesday, the homecoming parade on Thursday, and the pep rally and football game on Friday. The homecoming dance will take place on Saturday beginning at 8 pm.
