The Washington County Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday. On the agenda was a report from WEMIGA Waste. WEMIGA Waste President Lynn Whaley gave the report, “You can see our tonnage was a little higher than the previous year for the month of July. Pretty high in June and July, but August was down a little bit. And then right now, at the end of September, we are at thirty-eight point two tonnes as of today. I think we are going to end up around sixty-three tonnes for September. We have about ten days left. So we will be around sixty-three tonnes which is comparable to September of ‘23.” The Supervisors approved the report from WEMIGA Waste.
