This week, Golden Hawk head football coach Daren Lambert talked with KCII Sports at practice about the keys to a win Friday.

Lambert said, “They are similar to us. They lose a few guys but, they return a lot. We’ll go back and look through what we had success with in this game last year. Physicality is something that we have shown every week and we are looking to bring again this Friday. The more physical team wins most games. We need to stack successful plays on offense and defense. Bring relentless effort, have attention to detail, be disciplined in assignments, create explosive plays on offense and turnovers on defense. If we do all of those things on Friday, we’ll be just fine.”

Mid-Prairie has won eight of the 10 all-time meetings, including seven straight and a 42-7 road victory in Bloomfield last season.
