The Hillcrest Academy Raven cross country clubs traveled to Burlington Thursday for the Grayhounds Invitational. Highlight of the day for Hillcrest was Marie Yoder, racing by the field for her third consecutive meet championship in a time of 20:23, more than a minute faster than her closest competitor. Other Raven girls included Siena Stanerson fourth, Rya Scott 13th, Delaney Shaw 25th, and Brynna O’Rourke 29th. The Ravens were third as a team with 47 points, Keokuk won the meet with 32.

The Raven boys were fifth of six schools with 120 points. Jesse Blossom had the top time, taking 11th in 19:38. Other Raven runners included Braden Hartsock 21st, Isaac Beachy 24th, Jeremiah Danker 32nd, and Mateo Rodriguez-Yoder 37th.

Hillcrest is next in action Thursday when they travel to City High for the Bud Williams Classic.
