The Washington Demons earned another conference volleyball victory last night at home against Keokuk. After Keokuk took an early 5-3 lead, Washington used a 14-4 run to go in front and would stay there on their way to winning the first set 25-16.

The Demons would play from in front throughout the second frame, using a 14-6 run to blow open a two-point game and lead 21-11 before winning the set 25-14.

The third set was much tighter, with Keokuk using a 9-2 run to take a 14-12 lead. But Washington responded with nine straight points to go back on top, and they would finish off the sweep by winning the set 25-17.

With the straight-sets victory, the Demons are now 4-1 in the Southeast Conference and 11-10 overall. Washington will gear up to face their league rivals again in the first round of the Southeast Conference Tournament this coming Tuesday in Keokuk.
