This week, Golden Hawk co-head coach Zeb Evans talked with KCII Sports about what the Hawks are doing well during their win streak.

Evans said, ” (The way we’ve played is exciting), there aren’t many teams that can say they are as balanced as we are. We knew from the very beginning that balance was going to be our greatest asset. We have weapons all over the floor. We have people that can dig the ball really well, hitters that can swing, and can swing out of system. Our pressure, from serving to offensive pressure is huge. We don’t feel like we’re ever out of system and that’s very unique for teams. We have stressed that from the beginning. As athletic and as strong as we are defensively, we can always attack!”

Mid-Prairie has won seven straight over the Tigers including two victories in 2023. Action starts tonight at 7p.m. At Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman.
