The WACO Warrior volleyball team hosts the Hillcrest Academy Ravens tonight in a Southeast Iowa Superconference match. The Warriors are 5-17 on the year and in search of their first conference match win after five tries. WACO dropped a pair of matches at a quad in Lone Tree Tuesday when they lost to Keota in straight sets and the home Lions in three. On the year, the Warriors have 764 digs, 274 kills, 252 assists, 89 aces and 36 blocks. Individual WACO leaders include, Brenna Graber with 174 digs, Kinsey Hildebrand with 116 assists and 22 aces, Carlee Lunsford with 57 kills, and Drew Graber with 13 blocks.

Hillcrest is 16-5 this season, 3-1 in conference play. They were knocked out of the quarterfinals of the Superconference Tournament Saturday in Burlington by the West Burlington Falcons in straight sets. This year the Ravens have 776 digs, 533 kills, 430 assists, 170 aces, eighth in Class 1A and 50 blocks. Individually, Claire Withrow leads with 422 assists, Malia Yoder has 227 digs, 212 kills, and 45 aces, eighth in 1A, Kylee Statler has 24 blocks.

The Warriors have won six of the last seven in the series, but it was the Ravens that scored a victory in straight sets earlier this season. Action starts tonight at 7:30p.m. At WACO High School
