The Sigourney Savage volleyball team took care of business on the road Thursday night, picking up a victory over Colfax-Mingo. After dropping the first set 25-23, Sigourney won a close second frame 27-25 and kept rolling from there, winning the last two sets 25-13 and 25-22.

Middle hitter Reagan Clarahan had a team-high 14 kills for the Savages and also put up 11 digs and two blocked shots. Fellow senior Josephine Moore also had a double-double with 13 kills, 15 digs and a whopping seven serving aces.

Sigourney senior McKinley Chittick added six kills, nine digs and an ace, while sophomore Bailey Gretter handed out 12 assists to go with four kills, 14 digs, a block and two aces.

Fellow setter Taylor Rozenboom dished out 14 assists while also posting two kills, 10 digs and an ace as the Savages raise their record to 4-1 in the East division of the South Iowa Cedar League and 12-4 overall. Sigourney will get back to action Monday when they host HLV.
