The Washington Demons were unable to get a win Saturday at the Pella Volleyball Tournament. Washington fell in straight sets to Des Moines Valley, 21-17 and 21-11, before also getting swept by the hosting Dutch, Grinnell and Holy Trinity Catholic.

While the Demons won the first set against Knoxville 21-19, they would lose the second frame by the same score before also dropping the tie-breaking third set 15-12.

The losses drop Washington’s record to 14-15. The Demons will look to bounce back when they play their final two matches of the Southeast Conference Tournament tonight in Burlington, taking on both the Grayhounds and Keokuk.
