Yutzy continued, “Having a group of guys that can run together, train together and get faster together is great but then having a group like this that you’re good friends with and you love each other, that helps a lot. That helps you run faster. It helps you train better.

Girls runners Stutzman, Hostetler, Brokaw, Rodgers, Dessa Poll and Wallington said, “This feels really good, awesome, it’s amazing! This was our last regular season meet so our goal was to improve a lot and get your pacing down for the State Qualifier meet and State.”

The Mid-Prairie boys and girls will be back on the course next week at their Class 2A State Qualifier at Pella Christian.
