On September 23rd, the Louisa County Dispatch Center received a call regarding an intoxicated male subject in Grandview at Petro and More gas station. Deputies arrived and further located 33-year-old Christopher Cozenza of Grandview, who had been previously trespassed from the property. Cosenza was taken into custody after being found intoxicated and further became hostile with Deputies on scene. Cozenza was transported to the Louisa County Jail. While in the jail Cosenza became uncooperative and began to fight with Deputy Sheriffs and Jailers. During this incident Cozenza caused injury to a Deputy Sheriff and property damage to jail items. Cozenza further attempted to headbutt another Deputy and was restrained. Cozenza was charged with Assault on peace officer a Class D Felony, Operating while intoxicated (2nd Offense) an Aggravated Misdemeanor, Interference with official acts an Aggravated Misdemeanor, Criminal Mischief a Simple Misdemeanor, and Trespassing, a Simple Misdemeanor. Cozenza later posted bond and was released from the Louisa County Jail.
