The Sigourney Savages had their volleyball season come to a close last night with a loss at Ankeny Christian in the Class 1A Region 1 semifinals. Sigourney dropped the first set 25-8 to the third-ranked team in the state, and they would drop the next two frames as well, 25-15 and 25-9.

The season ends for Sigourney with a record of 17-6. The Savages will be graduating eight seniors after this year, including McKinley Chittick, Gabi Dehne, Taylor Rozenboom, Reagan Clarahan, Hannah Hanselman, Josephine Moore, Jayden Montgomery and Dani Aller.
