The Washington City Council approved entering into a contract with Christner Construction, Inc. for the Central Park Renovation project at their Tuesday meeting. Washington City Administrator Joe Gaa gave more information to the Council, “You approved this bid at the last meeting. This is a normal process that you see the construction contract, so that’s in front of you today. I have had some discussions with them already, we will have a pre-construction meeting pretty soon. And then you will see the demolition occur on that building pretty quickly. They are as excited to get to work as we are.”  The contract amount is for $260,400 The project deadline for the renovation project has been set as May 23rd of next year.
