Three members of the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk football team continue to rewrite the pages of the record books.
Senior quarterback Brady Weber is the all-time leader in passing yards in a season with 1,610, going by former record holder Reid Miller’s 2013 season last week in a playoff win over Mediapolis. Weber ranks second in career completions and career passing yards, trailing Reid Miller, Class of 2014 in both by 16 and 87 respectively. He is second on the career passing touchdown list with 31, behind all-time leader Seth Fisher, Class of 2001, by two. Weber’s 116 completions this year, trail only his own season last year by one, and Reid Miller’s 2013 by nine.
Junior running back Hudson Ehrenfelt is second all-time with 28 total touchdowns this season, trailing Tanner Miller’s 33 end zone visits in 2008. Ehrfenfelt is third on the career points list with 264, behind Adam Kos, Class of 2002’s 318 and Tanner Miller, Class of 2010’s 513. Ehrenfelt is also third on the career touchdown list at 44, trailing that same pair, in the same order, Kos with 47 and Tanner Miller with 59. His 168 points this season are third most behind Tanner Miller’s 2009 of 200 and 2008 of 266. Ehrenfelt has 2,643 rush yards in his time at Mid-Prairie, fourth most. Third on the list is Kevin Kos, Class of ’77 with 3,325. His 1,307 yards on the ground this year are ninth all-time, trailing his own season a year ago by 29 and all-time leader Tanner Miller by just under 700.
Junior linebacker and receiver Kaden Kos is moving up on both sides of the ball. His 267 career tackles are tied for second most all-time with Reid Miller, Class of 2014 and Justice Jones, Class of 2022. Adam Kos leads all-time with 269. Kaden Kos is second with 138 tackles this season, six behind leader Aaron Kos’s 144 in 1991. He also has nine career touchdown catches, tying him with 2017 grad Levi Duwa and 2023 graduate Cain Brown. The all-time leaders are Darian Patterson in the Class of ’07 and Collin Brenneman Class of ’09 with 16 each.
