After a record setting season for the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk volleyball team, they continue to fill the trophy case with postseason hardware. Five Hawks were named All-River Valley Conference by the league this season. Mid-Prairie had four first-team picks.

Two seniors were first-team selections, Dakota Mitchell and Callie Huber. Mitchell led the Golden Hawk defense with 558 digs, third most in Class 3A. Her 58 aces were seventh most in 3A. She added 92 assists. Huber finished with a .428 kill efficiency, fourth highest in 3A on 256 total kills, with a team best 46 blocks and 19 aces.

A pair of juniors were also first-teamers, Jovi Evans and Harper Pacha. Evans finished the year with 356 kills, fifth most in Class 3A with 55 aces eighth in the state. Evans added a team best 584 assists to go with 374 digs and 22 blocks with a .356 kill efficiency. Pacha piled up 256 kills and a .234 efficiency rating, with 73 digs, 26 aces and 23 blocks.

Freshman Jeorgia Evans was chosen Honorable Mention RVC, finishing with 431 digs, 10th in Class 3A, to go with 155 kills and a .344 efficiency, 35 blocks and 31 aces.

Mid-Prairie finished the season ranked No. 8 in Class 3A, with a school record 33 wins, the program’s first ever back-to-back Conference title’s and first trip to State since 2004.
