A magical season for Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk volleyball has continued into the postseason with awards highlighting the Hawks play on the court. Golden Hawk junior Jovi Evans was recognized as this year’s River Valley Conference South Division Player of the Year. Evans, a first-team All-RVC setter for the Hawks, finished this season with 356 kills, fifth most in Class 3A with 55 aces eighth in the state. Evans added a team best 584 assists to go with 374 digs and 22 blocks with a .356 kill efficiency. This is the second straight year a Golden Hawk has won the award, following Dakota Mitchell’s selection in 2023.
Mid-Prairie finished the season with a school record 33 wins, the program’s first back-to-back Conference titles ever and first trip to State since 2004.
