The 2024 Partner in 4-H Award is the Washington Lions Club. Washington County 4-H held its award night on Sunday, November 10th. Part of the awards night includes the Partner in 4-H Award. The Partner in 4-H Award goes to a business or organization that provides significant financial or in-kind support to the county 4-H program. Annually the Lions Club hosts a free popcorn stand at the county fair Kids Day at the Lions Stage. They refurbished this stage almost a decade ago to host many small-stage entertainment acts. They also invested in the photo backdrop space and support Extension’s fall program Stay Safe bags each year.
