The Washington City Council approved the change order and completion of the water main project on West Madison and East Main. City Administrator Joe Gaa gave more information to the Council, “The first one is a change order and that’s just really the quantities they used, so there’s increases in some, various decreases in the other. It’s really only a minimal change, it’s a decrease which we don’t often see in change orders, of fifteen hundred but that means that the project came in pretty close to where it was bid.” In a letter from Strand Engineering to the City, they stated that the project has been approved satisfactorily and completed. The total cost of the project was $3,087,644.62.
