Iowa Workforce Development released its October 2024 data this week. Washington County reported the lowest unemployment rate for the month at 2.3 percent, followed by 2.5 percent in Johnson County, 2.6 percent in Iowa County, and  2.7 percent in Louisa Counties, 2.8 percent in Henry County, 2.9 percent in Jefferson and Keokuk Counties.
