Washington County Engineer Jacob Thorius discussed the Washington County Road Safety Action Plan at the Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday, “This is kind of a reauthorization of a resolution that you guys passed in 2022 as part of the application for a grant for the road safety action plan that we received. And we are working on developing that plan right now. A couple of you, I know, were able to attend and others from the community and county were able to attend as well. This action plan is to help give us guidance towards the future making safety improvement projects for county roads and check a box and we will be able to apply for other grant funding as well.” The board approved the action plan which allows the County to continue to apply for state grant funding for future road projects.
