The Washington County Public Health Board voted on new policies at their most recent meeting. Washington County Public Health Administrator Jenifer Roberts shared the new policy descriptions with the board, “Next is, I did write a couple of new policies. The first one I am going to go over is our walk in policy. There was never anything official with it, we noticed some inconsistencies with that so we went ahead and made that a policy with just making sure that support staff is talking with our primary nurse, to make sure that they have the time to actually accommodate those patients.”  The new walk-In policy will be easily streamlined once the organization has moved to the renovated Orchard Hill Complex. The move is expected to take place in July of next year.
