The Iowa Teaching Team of the Year Award for hunter education instructors was presented to a team from Louisa County. Hunter Education Coordinator with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources Jamie Cook presented the award. The Louisa County instructors discuss live fire, archery, tree stand safety, and more.

The award was presented to Doug Brown, Tracy Lott, David Boysen, John Guyer, Mike Todd, Jerry Heater, Greg Terry, and Eric Tackenberg.
