The Holiday season kicked off in Washington this weekend with a full slate of Wonderland Holidays in Washington events Saturday. Main Street Washington hosted a Breakfast with Santa event at the United Presbyterian Church from 8 to 10 a.m. The Jingle Bell Fun Run was held at 9 a.m. The Reason for the Season performance was held at the Washington High School Auditorium with the proceeds going to HACAP. The live radio play titled “Holiday Magic on Main” was broadcast live on KCII and performed in the window of the Washington Public Library. The Downtown Lighting Ceremony & Lighted Parade was held at 6 p.m. and kicked off the holiday season in Washington.
