Washington was warmer and slightly drier than normal during the month of November. According to the National Weather Service, the average temperature was 42.5 degrees, above the normal of 38.2 degrees. The total precipitation for the eleventh month of the year was 2.02 inches, about two-tenths of an inch below normal.

Washington’s weather has started December off on a cold, snowy foot. The average temperature on Sunday was 19.5 degrees, about 12 degrees below normal. The National Weather Service reports one inch of snow fell in Washington on Monday.
